I really want to fall in love with running (again?) and I’m going to try to play as much golf as possible this summer. I’m also enamored of weight training (upper body!). But, what other x training (cross training) activities I should try eludes me.

I am pretty close to adding jumping rope to the routine (just need to go buy the rope), and I want to get into a martial art as soon as I have some base fitness and consistency in my schedule (wait…are these excuses?).

cycling? feel like i need to get some weight off first.
tennis? feel like i have no stamina, but willing to try.
swimming? not strong in the water.
hiking/walking? can be bo-ring.
rock climbing? sounds good in theory!
